Our many years of experience exploring the island have helped us select some of our favorite routes that can make your adventure not only enjoyable, but also accessible for beginners who want to experience something special during their holidays.

A beautiful route begins with a relaxing ride from Stalida towards Hersonissos, a lively destination with a beautiful seaside road, ideal for a short coffee stop or a walk. Continue towards the small coves of Sarantaris, where the waters are perfect for swimming since the cape protects the area from waves. The next stop is Gournes, where you will find the Dinosaur Park and the Aquarium for a relaxing exploration in one of the largest aquariums in Europe. Then, visit Watercity Waterpark in Anopolis, an ideal place for fun and relaxation whether you are traveling with friends or family. Returning to Stalida completes the route, offering the perfect opportunity for an afternoon or evening walk by the sea.

Another magical coastal route starts from Stalida and continues towards Malia and Sissi along the seaside road, a tourist resort ideal for a relaxing coffee break by the sea and perhaps a swim at its small sandy beaches. From there, follow the road to Plaka, a beautiful traditional fishing village with unique views of Spinalonga and an authentic Cretan atmosphere.
The route continues towards Elounda, known for its crystal-clear waters, beautiful scenery, and cosmopolitan atmosphere. From either Elounda or Plaka, you can take a boat trip to Spinalonga and experience what life in isolation was like until 1957. The final destination is Agios Nikolaos, one of the most beautiful towns in Crete, ideal for a walk around the lake, seaside dining, and a relaxing evening before your return.

Finally, an enjoyable and slightly more demanding route starts from Stalida towards the village of Mochos, where you can make your first stop for coffee at the village square and enjoy the traditional atmosphere. Then continue towards Sfendyli, a submerged village that, if you are lucky enough, you may see emerging from the water. Sfendyli offers a unique and impressive view, making it an ideal spot for photos before heading to Avdou through a lush green route full of natural beauty.
Krasi is the perfect stop not only for food, but also because there you will find one of the oldest plane trees in the world along with beautiful traditional springs, making it an ideal place to relax. The return towards Malia completes the route with a pleasant ride and the opportunity to enjoy the lively nightlife.
